KIMBERTON FAIR

The Fair is one of the last "FREE ADMISSION" fairs operating in the Pennsylvania State Association of County Fairs. It is a non-profit event whose purpose is to support the volunteer Kimberton Fire Company. The Fair is completely staffed by volunteers from the local community, Fire Company and Auxiliary. Kimberton Fair is a family oriented event where folks can share fun times and create lasting memories... a child's first merry-go-round ride... seeing old friends... winning a blue ribbon for the best apple pie... and taking that first bite of a warm, freshly made donut! PENNSYLVANIA GUILD SUMMER FINE CRAFT FAIR

Special demonstrations and fine music are highlights this year, but the real stars of the show are the 170+ professional contemporary and heritage craftsmen. Their remarkable works-of fine jewelry, wearable art, home décor, glassware, pottery, decorative crafts and more - grab the spotlight at this popular event.
The Guild summer fair relocates this year from Lancaster to Wilmington, bringing with it thousands of loyal art patrons and festival goers. THE MALVERN SCHOOL ALEX'S LEMONADE STAND DAY

To be held at each of the 15 school locations in Chester, Montgomery, Delaware and Bucks counties in PA, and Camden, and Gloucester counties in NJ. Each Malvern School location will feature a decorated "Alex's Lemonade Stand" and sell fresh lemonade or paper lemons to the general public to raise funds and awareness for the Alex Scott Foundation and their fight against pediatric cancer. 9am-2pm. VICTORIAN ICE CREAM FESTIVAL
July 12, 10am-5pm

The Graystone Society of Coatesville announces its 11th annual festival to be held on the grounds of The Lukens Historic District. This family-friendly festival has proven to be a summertime icon with its hand-dipped locally made ice cream, regional and ethnic specialties, as well as a wide selection of other taste-tempting fair foods! Free entertainment - just to name a few - includes roving jugglers, face painters, and mystical magician's. The air will be filled with the magical sounds of vintage strings, horns and percussion! The grown-ups will also love the wide array of specialty crafters, plus historic house tours of Terracina, Graystone Mansion and The Lukens Executive Office Building. Proceeds benefit The Graystone Society, which was created in 1984 to help preserve the city's historic architecture, and assist with municipal improvement and economic development through preservation. Fonthill's Old-Fashioned 4th of July Celebration. Noon-5pm, Fonthill Museum. Experience "the good-old days" as Fonthill re-creates an early 20th century July Fourth Celebration. Festivities include a decorated bike parade, a town ball game (19th-century baseball), a watermelon eating contest, free old-time games and live music. Food is available or you can bid on a picnic basket. Admission is $3 for adults ($2 BCHS members), $1 for children ages 6-17 and free for those under 6. CHADDSFORD WINERY LABOR DAY
Weekend Jazz Festival
August 30 and 31, and September 1

End the summer season with cool wines and hot jazz! Grab a blanket, invite some friends, and come out to the Chester County countryside to enjoy the sights and smells of the harvest season as you taste a selection of award-winning Chaddsford wines in the winemaking and barrel-aging cellars. Then relax and settle in for a day of wine and music featuring great camaraderie, great wine and foods, two live Jazz bands each day, and picnicking on the scenic winery grounds. Admission: $20/person, includes winetastings, souvenir wine glass, and concerts. Foods available from Pace One Restaurant, or bring your own picnic.
